"Other than a Starbucks and some quick eats spots across the street, the hotel is in a rather non-touristy area in South San Francisco. The hotel was superior in cleanliness, convenience right off the 101 freeway so you can get around to other areas in the city, and great customer service. The parking was $20 tax every night, which is not bad compared with higher hotel parking rates in other parts of the city. "The good of Hotel Focus was the ease to the airport, the monetary aspects and, of course, the quiet feel of the property. The bad. Parking is an issue. Never seemed to be enough parking spots close to the door. The ugly is most of the surrounding neighborhood being on the edge of an industrial park. It looks kinda sketchy, but wasn't. Nice place to stay either for the night or for a couple of weeks."
