"Both my husband and myself found the hotel to be just perfect location walk to the beach ideal for children..especially in summer months. Breakfast was great ample choice. However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."

Left after one night and had to pay to stay in another hotel Hotel near by provide good service and Evening meal plus cooked breakfast at just a small amount more than the Westcliffe. Cost me an additional £500. Covid Excuse does not apply as I have stayed in 4 hotels in Devon and Cornwall all providing good service and Food. Only worth £40 per...

"Really liked the hotel and location. Will be going back later in the year. Only criticism was the pool not being open in the morning. Otherwise great hotel with lovely staff! Shame the town is becoming rundown, the low lighting in the shopping area at night made us want to get back to the hotel asap. "

"Hotel is having a refit at the moment, not a big problem . Hotels in need of a general overhaul, bits and pieces need doing in and around the rooms. Breakfast was ok. "

"The staff attention was outstanding. The hotel is outdated. It needs a refurbishment. The bedroom carpets are mouldy as are the other carpets. The cleaners do a good a very good job, however this does not compensate for the circumstances of the outdated rooms. The public areas are generally well kept. "
