Excellent food with multiple choices and a tasting menu with wine pairings that was perfect each night, a great surprise given the small size of the lodge. Definitely one of my most memorable stays! "The Lakeside rooms have a beautiful view of the lake. Offerings at the restaurant/bar were enjoyable and creative. Somewhat limited selection for lunch/dinner but we had four different mains and all were excellent. We parked in the underground garage which has limited parking although not a problem finding spots during the end of March. Mattress in bed was very nice for sleeping and all the other amenities were good. No microwave in the room type I chose, I think it was the only stay in NZ...

The lobby and restaurant has great views. No elevator available to some of the rooms so you will need to carry your luggage. They do have porters to assist. I would recommend this hotel and would return. "
