The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. "The wifi was non-existent. The owner made us feel uncomfortable when we were using the kitchen and he was not a people person. It did have a beautiful view from the dining room though. It seemed over priced compared to other places we have stayed."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking lake view from the room—absolutely stunning and a true retreat for the senses. The rooms themselves were comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. However, the early morning noise from the trash collection slightly disrupted the tranquility. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a mention. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. The meals were well-prepared and flavorful, making dining at the hotel a memorable experience.
