"Immediately before staying for 3 nights at La Loma, I had stayed at Monte Sagrado, and the price/quality ratio was vastly superior at La Loma. Aside from all the personal touches (including, for example, a personally tailored breakfast menu every morning), the inn had many surprises of charm that one rarely sees anymore, anywhere. For example, my room had a traditional pueblo-style fireplace (kiva) with firewood and matches that got replenished every morning. I travel a ton throughout the world...

"Positives: Staff, location, dining, bar, charm (we have family in Taos and live in NM so understand NM decor charm. Challenging 1. Old soft mattress - so moved to another room 2. Single pane window - room freezing so got space heater and 2 extra blankets). Taos Inn is the real deal just know that historic places are charming and challenging. What’s great are all the things mentioned!"

"We were so pleased with this beautiful, spacious, well equipped home. The property was tranquil and very private. The stars are absolutely amazing. The outdoors enabled our grandson to run wild, swing and be a kid. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The fireplaces are such a nice perk and we used them every night. "Land of Enchantment lives up to its billing. Charming property with all amenities one could want. Location is about as close as one can get without renting a condo in Ski Valley itself. Perfect spot to get away from it all for our first time in years. Prime shopping is as close as the ski slopes if you aren't a ski buff. Excellent communications with our hosts before and during the stay with written guidance and suggestions on everything involved with the stay. Certainly would see about staying...
