"We did a short two-night staycation here with our two dogs. I was happy to learn the dogs stay free. I was impressed by the breakfast, which I found more compelling than many continental breakfasts. The price was right. The coffee, hot water, and cookies available 24/7 is a great touch. The staff were warm. I would love to come back. "

"We arrived early to town and made a stop by the hotel just to use the restroom before exploring some wineries. We were greeted by Nigel, who was extremely friendly and offered to check us in early, which was a pleasant surprise. Nigel was also full of great recommendations for wineries, restaurants and things to do and see in town. The location of the hotel is very convenient to downtown and only a 5 minute drive from Sensario, which is where we were headed at sunset. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is included with your stay, which is lovely and there is a full bar in the lobby. We were here for my wife's 55th birthday and Nigel even gave us a complimentary bottle of Rose'. What a fantastic check-in experience! Thanks Nigel for being so thoughtful and making our initial experience so wonderful!!"

"Beds & pillows are terrific! I always sleep so well here! It’s an older motel but much has been done to update & improve it. The owners are actively involved running it & they are like old friends. The indoor pool area is great for a group gathering. Probably one of the biggest assetts. Recent AAA club rating shows the owners continuous upgrades are bearing fruit. "

"This is a very clean hotel with beautiful plants all around the outside of the building. Rooms have detailed drawings by Julia Morgan of Hearst Castle areas. The breakfast offers lots of choices."
