"The Palacio is a decent adults only hotel in historic Old San Juan. It’s been there a while so it’s pretty old and shows it. While cute, it’s not worth $500 a night. Children were still allowed in the restaurant, the bathroom could be cleaner with the shower door working better, and the noise level inside the room is pretty loud as you can hear the street music a block away. "The staff was very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. The property was as described and was very clean. The location is centered between Old San Juan and San Juan. We enjoyed the walk to Old San Juan. It’s about a 15 minute walk to a nice beach. It can be a little noisy with the people at the bar across the street. But, the master bedroom is quiet. The only issues we had was the shower never had hot water. We also wish we had a microwave. We would definitely stay again. "
