"Our stay was disappointing for several reasons: 1. Parking on the street was not good. There aren’t enough spots in front of Placid Suites for all the rooms, so we had to park several blocks away. Trying to navigate narrow sidewalks along a busy street in the dark felt unsafe 2. Placid Suites is in a loud part of town, and the partying went on all night long. "Charming, old facility ... Room is relatively quiet considering it is located on a busy street . Bathroom needs brighter lighting.Name of the hotel needs to be posted on or near the front entrance to make it easier to find while driving. Will return on our next visit to OSJ. "

"This was our first visit to PR my teen daughter and I enjoyed it. Overall it was a great experience, room was clean and staff was very friendly. The balcony wasn’t much to talk about and I wish the room had a microwave but other than that it was fine. "

"Words can’t begin to express the wonderful experience I had here. As this was a business trip the whole time felt like this was a much needed getaway. As I like vintage stays this was right up my alley so much history and culture, So much to explore and the mini balcony great touch, I am definitely coming back here, not far from beach either. Viva 🇵🇷"

"Very close to the kayaking and many fun restaurants. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and everything worked great! Parking was gated, so no concerns there. Very safe area. Local chickens and roosters are kind of fun, but sleep in the interior room if you’re a light sleeper. "

"This property was clean. Outside restroom was very convenient for when using the pool. Shower head on the pool area has warm/heated water. There was some issues with the water drain on the bathroom. In addition to not having enough blankets, towels had to be requested. Housekeeper was very helpful and pleasant. The pin pad on main door doesn’t work. "

"Great hidden gem! Hosts were very kind. The area is secure and always locked. Garage to park in. Room great! So clean, can cook and really make yourself at home here. Beautiful patio area w pool and chairs to sit by pool. Unlock the gate and it leads to the beach. Beach is a little rough so we chose the pool. A lot of dining options in area. Area/streets outside of hotel is a bit dirty and run down. Would definitely stay here again! "
