"Would definitely stay here again. Hotel and room were very clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Area felt safe, but did have someone knocking repeatedly on our door at 2:20 am one night. Not sure what that was about but was disconcerting. Pool was very warm which was nice. Check in staff was kind and polite. Only complaint was the shower, I don't know if it was the plumbing or the faucet cartridge but it kept going hot and cool during our showers. "

"I booked the Kings Inn mainly looking at the posted reviews that are usually very good. I was in San Diego for a special event and I thought I had booked a "special" hotel. I have to say that I was rather disappointed when I got my first look at the hotel and when we entered the lobby. The state of the lobby sitting area is not as glamorous as the website may suggest: it is quite aged. ALSO I would qualify this hotel as a "retro" hotel but not at all "Art deco" hotel: please fix this...

"Nice our door pool but needs to have towels available for you either out by pool or in your room so you don’t have to ask every time. Also elevator on the opposite side of the rooms.
