"This was our first time at the Victorian, a few friends of ours have stayed here before and recommended it to us. We had such a great time here - quiet property, but very walkable area. The complimentary wine and cheese nights and the breakfasts were easily the best part of the stay, though the rooms were also spacious and comfortable. We will be coming back! "

"The hotel was perfectly located in the historic Monterey area and an easy walk to the Ward! It’s a super fun and quite different! A mini fridge would have been helpful, and the little heater knob is a bit tricky to find if you’re not sure what to look for, but nothing to worry about. We loved it and will be back!"

"There were some cobwebs in the corner of my room and on the ceiling. The fan also was dirty on the bottom, as it had not been cleaned in a long time. At night it is very dark, not too much lighting outside, but parking is easy. The room is spacious and the small deck is convenient."
