"We had a good experience here. We liked the heated indoor pool and the breakfast buffet. There was complimentary cookies in the evening and hit coffee and hot water to make tea in the lobby as well. I would stay again. The only thing that we didn't care for was the last night we stayed there there was a group of teenagers in the room next to us and they were playing loud music until 1am and running up and down the hallway. It was hard to sleep. The room was advertised as having sound proofed...

"Staff was nice and property looked cleaned. I got there early and was lucky enough to check in early. Room had two beds, one did have a big stain on one of the bed sheets that looked like it’s been there for a while. There was a strange smell at first, but Other than that room Was okay. "

"Unlike other guests who probably dont take into consideration the rate paid... I Do! For what we paid, i was very satisfied! If you're looking for overall GREAT VALUE... This is your place! If your the type of traveler who makes a fuss about all the minor quality components of lodging.... go somewhere else! If I paid $199 a night, Id give it a 4/10. But since I paid $85, it gets a 8/10"

A hidden gem!

"I love the Stargazer Inn and Suites and will definitely return here if ever in Monterey again. It was clean as a whistle! Note that some rooms have hard floors (no carpeting) so I'm glad I brought our slippers. The indoor pool was a highlight! The pool is salt water, though the hot tub seemed to use regular chlorine. Both were well maintained with no funky smell afterward in our suits, which I greatly appreciated. All this and the price couldn't be beat. Loved it! "

"As a family of four we really enjoyed our short stay at the Hyatt as we explored Monterey for a few days. The hotel was clean, safe, friendly and rooms worked great. We were fans of the buffet breakfast, tennis courts and the pools. Would definitely stay again."
