"The house was bigger and nicer than I expected. The view is incredible! So fun spotting coatimundis and hummingbirds even from inside the house through the big windows all around. Raul was the most helpful and friendly host - he even pulled our car out of a ditch! Lillian's dinner was from heaven - perfect meal for our family after arriving from a long day of travel. "Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"Overall the TreeTop House met our needs. We are a family of 7 traveling together and wanted to spend a few days in Monteverde. The Treetop House was able to sleep all of us easily. The pros of this property are its relatively inexpensive price for the number of people it can sleep. The one major drawback was that there was no place for everyone to sit together other than the kitchen area (i.e., there is no living room type of area for seven people to sit down as the place is configured to use...
