"Although we only stayed one night we had a great stay! We arrived early but were able to spend the day at the pool before our room was ready. We were in the premium zone and the restaurant exclusive to us was excellent! View of the beach, good food and superb service. Our room was clean and spacious and very quiet. Was a terrific place to stay before we took the ferry the next day."

"Tucked into the jungle it is definitely a Sanctuary. Monkeys and birds greet you along with an amazing view of the sunrise. A short walk to the water falls and Butterfly Brewery. The owner is a sweetheart and her hotel shows that. Everything about my stay was great"

The Management has created at atmosphere of family with the entire staff and every guest. You feel welcome the moment you step up to the front desk to check in. The restaurant menu is diversified with meat, fish, poultry and pastas. And, more importantly, the quality and presentation was absolutely exceptional. And the Tropical Salad is on you do not want to miss. Outstanding! In fact, we had a 2 bedroom villa with a full kitchen- and we never used i!!!! The grounds and pools are well maintained and the entire area was never even remotely crowded, even though they were fairly full. Beach walks right out your front door, and a trail to a waterfalls that drops into the ocean is magnificent! If you’re coming to Costa Rico, do not miss Tango Mar."
