"Although we only stayed one night we had a great stay! We arrived early but were able to spend the day at the pool before our room was ready. We were in the premium zone and the restaurant exclusive to us was excellent! View of the beach, good food and superb service. Our room was clean and spacious and very quiet. Was a terrific place to stay before we took the ferry the next day."

"I loved the location, the beach, the street vendors. The water is beautiful and warm. We went swimming at night, it was great. The staff was very nice, just didn't seem very knowledgeable. Breakfast was great also. There is a shower by where there park the cars to rinse off from the ocean."

"Unfortunately due to tight international layovers we missed our first two days in the area, and only stayed one night here. The staff was so accommodating and nice and even tried to look to extend our stay with them (even though we couldn’t because we already had another stay booked elsewhere). Most of the staff was fluently bilingual. The reception desk was very helpful at finding good local places. What a beautiful, unique place! I wish we could’ve actually enjoyed being here. The Management has created at atmosphere of family with the entire staff and every guest. You feel welcome the moment you step up to the front desk to check in. The restaurant menu is diversified with meat, fish, poultry and pastas. And, more importantly, the quality and presentation was absolutely exceptional. And the Tropical Salad is on you do not want to miss. Outstanding! In fact, we had a 2 bedroom villa with a full kitchen- and we never used i!!!! The grounds and pools are well maintained and the entire area was never even remotely crowded, even though they were fairly full. Beach walks right out your front door, and a trail to a waterfalls that drops into the ocean is magnificent! If you’re coming to Costa Rico, do not miss Tango Mar."
