"Oceano was definitely one of the best lodging options for downtown Jaco. Everything you could want was writhing a 10-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi drive. The property is new and the facilities are upgraded. Our particular room included a a full kitchen with laundry. We had a separate bedroom and a living room that included a large couch which converted into a double decker bed. The room had two balconies which overlooked the pool. There were also floor to ceiling windows that brought in lots of light. This can be good or bad. The view was lovely, but could be noisy at night when people were frolicking in the pool. Also, you could be seen through the windows by neighbors. We kept the shade down most times. However, the property was lovely. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was homemade deliciousness. The staff provided free beach or pool towels that could be exchanged each day. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel tour concierge was very helpful and helped my family customize our excursion experience. Each night we could walk to the best restaurants and bars and felt safe. I highly recommend Oceano. FYI: as of Dec 2024, there are three additional properties being built in the area. By Dec 2025, I imagine that strip will be a bustling little metropolis. I look forward to returning. "

"We travel to Jaco- South Beach hotel, have a wonderful time. Awesome just Awesome. The staff spoke English and shared their stories and experiences. Josh and Carlos and recommended hourse back riding and assisted in the booking. My husband, son and my daughter in law had a great time. What an amazing experience we had. We also traveled out and found Roots to River white water rafting- Oh my god we thought this trip couldn’t get any better-loved the team and WOW!!!Definitely would recommend- Thank you"
