"We had a very pleasant stay at the Puerto Resort. The rooms may be a bit old-fashioned, but they were clean and well-maintained. I noticed that they were refurbishing the fifth floor, which suggests that they have plans to update the decor in the future. If you'd like, you can request daily cleaning and towel changes. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room, a large wardrobe, and a generous terrace. The food was excellent, offering a variety of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters....

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Upon check-in, we were met with the friendliest staff who took a genuine interest in our stay and our comfort. The grounds are beautiful, with two pool areas that featured gorgeous landscaping and views of Teide. The location was ideal, an easy walk down hill (steep coming back up) to the ocean-side restaurants and bars, and a quick walk north to the stunning botanic garden. "Out 5th stay at the Vallemar and standards remain consistently high. An excellent frontline hotel with a wonderful roof terrace and pool. The hotel restaurant overlooks the Lago Martínez and provides a large range of buffet style dishes with produce sourced from its own organic farm. The restaurant staff are professional and attentive. Another very enjoyable visit!"
