"After having read a lot of negative reviews we were a little apprehensive about the hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were able to check-in an hour and a half early and staff were all very friendly and professional. Room was lovely and everywhere was very clean. Some building work going on but didn’t cause any issues. Plenty of choice at mealtimes and it was always presented beautifully. The rooftop bar is amazing! Bit of a steep hill or steps into town but lots in the area to see and bus stops close by. Really lovely hotel and good value for money. "

"My husband and I recently stayed at the Botánico Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and the staff were absolutely amazing the entire time. When we arrived, the front desk staff were very helpful and Antonio (I believe was his name) showed us to our room. Once in the room, he explained several things about the room which was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the space we would call home for the next few days. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional our entire stay. We were able to call and easily get an iron, taxi etc. The attention to detail in the room was superb. We especially enjoyed the pillow menu options and turn down service. The breakfast was outstanding and a lovely way to start the day. We utilized the spa area with a couples massage and played tennis.  I love fresh flowers and the fresh rose in the bathroom was a wonderful touch. We dined at The Oriental and II Pappagallo which were both delicious. The live music each night was a fun treat for a wind down at the end of the evening.  Hotel Botanico is a true Luxury Hotel and I thank the entire staff for making our trip to Tenerife so wonderful."

"A rather old building in need of a bit of renovation but clean and tidy. Good size bath tub, 2nd floor room with balcony (paid a bit extra but worth it). Small pool on top floor, good sun terrace and beds."
