Mediterranean Palace
5/5 Excellent
"The hotel was redeveloped in 2024 and is bright and modern. Staff, especially housekeeping (daily) were wonderful.
However, we had issues with noise from neighbouring rooms. We could hear voices and the TV through the walls.
We also had issue with. the food hall. It was often over crowded and waiting time to get into the food hall at breakfast and for evening meals could be lengthy.
The food quality was average. On one occasion, I found a large piece of wire in my pasta. I also had food poisoning, which is no surprise given the crowds in the food hall and hygiene habits of some guests. We stopped going to the food hall after the food poisoning incident. Unfortunately, most resort hotels in the area adopt the food hall method of feeding guests.
Also disappointed that use of the gym costs extra. The sports bar was never open.
We stayed almost four weeks at the hotel and overall we were very disappointed."
