"Reception wasn’t very welcoming but that was sorted. Restaurant offerings are either a very expensive fine dining experience or a poor quality pub grub with very limited menu. Generally staff very helpful location very good and excellent potential but missing something "

We met the owner who has such a passion for her hotel . Rooms were fab and very clean , just recently upgraded to such a high standard and very reasonable rate.we will defo be back again."

"All was good except the tv remote. The batteries were held in with duct tape, which did nothing as you had to hold them in if you wanted the remote to work, hardly 4 star. Apart from that we both enjoyed our stay."

"The drive up to the hotel is beautiful with a grand entrance. Check in was perfect. The main dining and lounge areas are very relaxing and welcoming with helpful staff. The rooms are a little tired and extremely warm which made it a little uncomfortable but didnt ruin the trip. Breakfast was really good with a great selection. We also dined in the lounge and, whilst not a great selection, what we had was delicious. Overall, it was a great two night stay and great value too."
