"I have been going to Pitlochry Hydro for the last 26 years and still enjoy going. Unfortunately the heating broke down in minus conditions but staff could not apologise enough and it was just unfortunate. It is in a lovely little town with lots of lovely walks and easy access to other towns and sight seeing places. Looking forward to March when we will return. "My partner and I needed a place to stay on our way up north, and since he grew up near the Hydro, we decided to give it a go. What a good shout! From DoubleTree's classic, warm cookies to the spaciousness of the room, we felt at home and comfortable. The Hydro also oozes Victorian charm and boasts stunning views of the surrounding area. What's not to love? It's actually a shame we didn't stay longer. We're keen to return, especially to try The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. My only issue is that the room door allowed a lot of noise through which was a slight disturbance."

"Loved my stay here. My room was beautiful and spacious with a fantastic view over the gardens to the loch. Very large cosy bed, little seating area and dressing table. The bathroom was bigger than mine at home! Tea and coffee supplies were well stocked as were the complimentary toiletries. Only one drawback - shampoo but no conditioner. All staff so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was divine accompanied by the views. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable, can’t wait to return in the spring.
