"Hosts were very welcoming and delightful. Accommodations were well appointed. We’ve stayed at many holiday homes and this was by far the best. Hosts greeted us upon arrival and had provided supplies for breakfast to carry us over to the next morning in case we needed it. Would definitely recommend it!"

Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return."

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

"The house is high on a hill overlooking Oban. It's a little tricky driving up there but welcome to Old Scotland. There is a lot to see around Oban but we had some stormy weather when we were there so we went to the distillery."

"The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). The kitchen had everything I would have hoped for as far as being able to prepare my own meals. Dalkeith and environs have lovely parks and I thoroughly enjoyed the discoveries I made of wooded walks and history. I wondered if I would regret not renting a car.
