Pet-friendly Hotels in Scotland

"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...

Beyond that, it's in a great location, is very clean and is reasonably priced. On the downside, there were some problems with the room--the main closet door was broken, and a request to repair didn't get a response. "Spent two nights but honestly wished it was longer. The room was so cool, comfortable, with tons of little unique touches that really made it feel like a home. Great decor, comfortable bed, nice Bluetooth speaker and even a record player. Sadly the records are a bit scratched so that didnt work out but still added to the overall vibe of the room, and seriously the most warm and friendly staff i have ever encountered.
