"The property was wonderful. Nothing fancy but, quaint and quiet. The staff are lovely despite minimal interaction. The room I stayed in, (family quarters) was lovely. Although a the bathroom was a little small and the cupboard door doesn’t fully shut, it was exactly what I needed. Tea and coffee was provided, which was lovely. "I had so much fun in Edinburgh and so did my traveling partners. Food across the street rabo was great we didn't do the Thai place but and the shopping at the history the castle everything I can't wait to go back to Scotland but I think I'll just do Scotland there's so much to see that we missed"

"I’ll admit I was nervous after reading the reviews but the price was so good I thought it worth the risk. I stayed with my daughter for three nights. Pre arrival we received a detailed email with a code for the front door and information on how to access the key for our room. Access was easy and I actually prefer the fact it is un manned as no pressure to check in at a certain time. Plenty of unlimited parking on the road outside but also a large car park at the back. "We stayed here after completing the NC500. It was a staffless check in so key codes provided which was fine, especially when you are tired! Room was well stocked with some breakfast bits and a mini fridge etc. "

"The front door is a bit quirky (the instructions were good but I was late and tired and took a moment to remember them). The room was spacious and welcoming if a little too warm. The bed was a bit saggy. There are a number of switches which don't seem to do anything. And the room is so tall that heavy (and REALLY good!) curtains on a pole are very hard to manipulate."
