He shared many tips of things to see in the area during our short stay and following his tips helped give us a fondness for this town and area of Scotland. We hope to stay there again sometime soon. "The room seems to have had a recent remodel so it was pretty nice looking in good condition the beds are harder than a rock like all the beds here in the UK and everyone we've stayed at. The shower was leaking terribly in the corner by the toilet hopefully they see this review and are able to fix that. "My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. "Alban & Abbey House was perfect for our one night stay. Check in was simple at their other guest house just at the end of the street and across the road. It is within walking distance of the town centre with plenty of parking at the property. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Had everything we needed 🙂"
