Some things that threw off the experience were the shower was difficult to operate, the bed was quite uncomfortable due to the support slats coming out of place that we did not notice till the end of the trip, the stove top was a real pain to operate and figure out, and lastly the dish washer definitely did not work. The sum of many little things gets irritating when you are staying somewhere for a week. Could use some improvement or upgrades. The pool only had two...

"It is always hard to find somewhere that says it sleeps 18 people that isn't 2 bedrooms full of bunkbeds and air mattresses. But this unit accommodated our group of 6 couples and 1 single with each having their own room. And of course, the 3 full bathrooms was a necessity. "We’ve been coming here for six years. Feels like home. The Ritz is closing 5/25-12/25 for major renovations. I hope they keep the comfortable, family friendly, attentive feel and don’t go ultra-modern and impersonal/cold. This unit was nice because it overlooks Biscayne Bay which we prefer because you can see the sailboats and sunset and isn’t subject to noise when events are held outside on the ocean side. "
