"The Oaks Hotel informed us that EXPEDIA has assigned us a Handicapped room when we did not request one. The bed was low and uncomfortable and the shower was set to low flow. The hotel indicated that they did not assign a handicapped room and that it was Expedia that did it. WE ARE NOT HAPPY ABOIUT THIS!"

"Fairly quiet except for the early morning trash trucks and occasional train horns. Loved the idea of daily/ nightly fires but they were pretty smokey. The room was lovely and the gas fireplace was a treat. The staff is exceptional. Convenient walk to the entire downtown area. "
