"Actually good value if you accept the tatami style bedding. Only problem is that going out of the room to the shared toilets and showers can be freezing as the common areas are not yeated. Hotel looks old. But it was in the centre of Ina, and had good free parking. Room we got for 5 pax was relatively cheap."

"Our three night stay was a highlight of our three week Japan visit. The staff was so kind and so friendly. Especially Iyaka and Ling. Our room was large and the western beds were comfortable. The shuttle bus was very convenient running from the Kiso train station to the property. The meals were delicious. This was our first stay at a ryokan. "We dropped our bags in the morning to hold until checkin. We asked about the local bus, & the one man who spoke English said the ONLY way to ride the bus was to buy a 2-day pass. A few min later when we went to tourist information @ the station, we learned you could pay per ride, which is what we wanted. The next thing was checkin @ 2:25pm. Good hotel close to town centre

"Nice modern hotel within easy walking distance to train or bus station. A shuttle bus is also available. Foyer was attractive and we were shown to our room and luggage was carried by staff. We had an executive double room which was a bit small. If we stay again we would get a twin room which are much bigger. Buffet breakfast was superb."

"A great experience from the beginning. Easy parking across the street. Efficient checkin even when there was a tour bus. Small but comfortable room. Convenient location. Good breakfast and fantastic onsen walkable to everything. "

"Very accessible from Matsumoto Station. The hotel was very clean. I especially appreciated the cleaning after 3 nights of stay to be sustainable. The towel bags was a nice feature so we were able to carry the towels to the bath. Breakfast was delicious. There were so many options ranging from Japanese to western. There was something for everyone to eat. The hotel had nice little perks. When we stayed, there was happy hour (free alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and evening snack in the dining hall. "

"Excellent hotel on a budget. Room is clean and size is just nice for Japan standard. Check in and check out were very fast with machine. Breakfast was mainly Japanese food. Toiletries and tea powder were placed in the lobby for self service. Good Japanese system but must get used to it. Overall, it is an excellent hotel. "

"A nice, clean and tidy hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The styling was classical and quite appealing. The hotel has free access to guests for the seperate men's and women's onsens. It also has a rather nice sitting room with a selection of books (in japanese) to read/flick through. The breakfast was a generous buffet with a large variety of hot and cold items from typical japanese fare to more usual western toast and and cereal. We would definitely stay again."
