"We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. "This is a very basic hotel, catering mostly to young Australian tourists. It is extremely conveniently located next to the Happo One gondola and several popular bars / restaurants. The rooms are clean and generally the staff were very helpful, but the physical state of the building and the smell of diesel fuel is a little off putting. The breakfast is very basic but in the hotel’s defence, everything was pretty much exactly as described and the price reflects the value you get here. "

"The owners are so friendly and helpful it was nice and quiet and a very short walk to the gondola for snowboarding it is a stunning place and feels like you are at home It’s very warm in winter with fires going and I was travelling with boys and they loved it Great location and amazing meals the owners went out of their way to help us as it was our first time in Japan. Highly recommended this accommodation to everyone when we come back we will stay here again ❤️"
