Great place to stay in Matsumoto
This is a conveniently situated hotel with comfortable rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. I’ve stayed here before and find it an excellent base for train-based day trips around the region as well as for Matsumoto itself

Turned out to be perfect for an overnight stay. It was only 4 minutes walk from the train station and Izakayas. I had a wonderful view of the snow capped mountains in the morning.

The hotel is a very short walk from the station even with a suitcase. 2pm check in was great. Also close to the castle and museum of art. Lots of places to eat close to the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff.
