"The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station and is located across the road from a food street with lots of restaurants. 15 minute walk to the castle. Clean hotel."

"Pleasant staff. Lovely lobby with delicious desserts. Beds were a bit hard for my liking but that is a personal preference; our friends liked them. Small rooms but typical. Had nice shower. Town is not as tourist friendly as other areas so plan ahead for meals; many places don’t seat foreigners unless you are invited. We are convenience store foods. The American Burger restaurant seated us at lunch though. The castle is amazing and the mountains are spectacular."

"Priced well. Curtious staff and clean accommodations. Easy walk from station and other dining, bars, and tourist sites. Matsumoto Castle was only 12 min walk but you go through all the great shops along the way so its wonderful."
