"Our stay was only one night. The mansion was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic and our host/chef was very personable and helpful in providing recommendations for things to do and see in the area. One small negative is that, when we made our reservation, the only room available (2nd floor) did not have a connected bathroom; its bathroom was on the first floor. While it was a private bathroom just for us, it was somewhat inconvenient. All the other rooms have bathrooms."

"This hotel has beautiful bones. Glimpses of its former glory are everywhere. On the plus side: prompt valet parking, easy check-in, pretty public spaces, very comfortable beds, with the exception of the shower needing a good spray of bleach on the grout, the rooms were clean. The downside: absolutely frigid temperatures in the lobby and hallways. Musty smelling hallway on on floor (fortunately, not in the room ) Very strange lighting in the lobby - made it feel cold and unwelcoming. The bar was...

She is very easy to talk to and informative about Louisville! Stay at the inn in St. James, you will feel like you are at home. Thanks Pat!❤️"
