"Read some of the reviews, they were actually pretty good so I thought I would give it a chance. I wrote this review from the hotel room the night that I stayed, not after I’d left and so far no issues. The place was clean, all the lights worked, location was pretty good, and there was a Denny’s just down the road where I could get my breakfast in the morning. Parking lot was well lit and very fast Internet download speeds although pretty bad upload speeds if you wanted to send pictures or video...

"It's a very old hotel but economically priced and the front desk employee, maybe owner, was very friendly and quick. The bathroom definitely needs updating or a better clean. We chose not to shower due to looking like mold. It may have been a stain as the rest of the room was clean. "

"Pros: Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillows, easy parking, good smell Cons: Front desk is not 24 hours, thin and scratchy towels"

"This is an absolutely beautiful historic hotel. "

"Mostly we enjoyed our time. I gave it 4 stars because I felt like walking up & down the loft was unsafe. The railing didn't go all the way up. We had to figure out creative ways to get up & down. I also thought the "dog park" was lame. The bigger area only had 2 pieces of equipment and it was listed as an "agility course". There wasn't any shade. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would love to return. The view from our room was beautiful and staff cared about their jobs. "

"This was a bare bones hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was Wi-Fi and a tv, and not much else. If all you want is a comfortable bed, then this is the place for you. "
