"Easy check in although had to wait as staff were working in the bar area as well as the hotel. The room was clean and well equipped, the bed comfy but the bathroom was tiny with the smallest shower head I've ever seen that was definitely not a power shower"

"The Dixie was a very comfortable place to stay. Comfy bed nice bathroom and very clean. The hostess was incredibly helpful and as I was leaving early the next morning and would miss breakfast she packed me a lunch to go. I will definitely be staying there again. "

"The room is dated but the bed and pillows were comfortable. It needs better lighting in the room as it is very dull and un inviting plus the desk lamp was not working. With the design of all rooms you do feel like you are staying at a Butlins site. The evening meal in the pub was very good but the breakfast was acceptable but needed to be hotter I stayed one night which is fine but wouldn’t want to stay longer "
