"The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. I really wished I could give this place 5 stars but unfortunately for us, we had to switch rooms. The first room had mold specs all over the bathroom door and walls. The air conditioner also wasn’t working properly in the room. It was cooler to open the windows wide and turn off the air. We dropped it down to 64*F and it was blowing out warm air. I checked with the front desk staff to ask if we could change rooms and he was super friendly...

"This hotel is close to the train station and restaurants. McDonald’s is right across the street. The staff are wonderful. The room is kind of small for 2 adults with 2 luggage. We made it through 3 nights. "

"I stayed at quite a few hotels during my recent Tokyo trip and this was by far my favorite hotel. The room temperature was comfortable as often times I encountered that Tokyo hotel rooms are kept too hot during winter and there’s no way to cool them. This was not the case at Rose Garden. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Staff was also amazing and seemed to be fairly fluent in English. The price was great and breakfast was a reasonable add on. "Quiet business location but hotel lobby was under renovation, so the hotel lobby was loud, noisy and we could not enjoy the lobby area and beautiful chandeliers. One night, we lost electricity for approximately 2 hours. The hotel employees were friendly and helpful."

"For the price in Uber expensive Tokyo, the room was large and comfortable, the location is quiet and it is a conveniently walkable distance from Shinjuku station. I would definitely consider it for a future stay in Tokyo."
