"A great hotel if visiting the Excel Centre. Easy to get to on the Elizabeth line. We stayed for 1 night when we attended the London International Horse Show. They dont offer room service but you can order food at the bar and take it up to your room which we did and found it reasonably priced. Easy to check in and out. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there and no doubt we will be back again next year for the Horse Show "

"For budget London accommodation I was impressed with the Forest Gate Hotel. Pros: quiet location, easy walking distance to the tube (Olympic park 2stops away), affordable (for London prices), clean sheets, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee in room. Fire doors and a solid door lock. Shared toilet and showers but they are clean enough, a decent size and will good locks on the door. "Never got to stay here. Front desk said they don’t have my reservation even tho I paid for it. The lady was extremely rude with an attitude also. After being on a plane for 7 hours, all I wanted to do was rest. I should’ve listened to the other reviews that said they don’t honor their reservations. It’s completely true. "
