"The staff were welcoming, the room was good although the shower had quite a bit of mould in it, also the shower went cold while I was using it, overall for what we paid for the night we were happy with it and would stay there again, it just needs a bit of tlc "

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Great location for Excel. The room was big enough for two with all the facilities fitted in a relatively small space. The bed was firm, which was okay for me, but my wife was not a fan. The restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was good. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and good quality food."

"I was put into room 315 twin room for me and my daughter and I was disappointed at the condition of the carpet stained on the entrance to the room and the back of the bathroom door wood panel chipped at the bottom. Also the painted surface near the toilet area was black from mould. I would not say this was a 3 star hotel more like a 2 star for the condition of the room I was put into and not liking the view at the back of the room looking at a derelict building not a pretty view. "Great location - close to the Abba Arena and the London Stadium and with convenient rail connections. All of the staff were lovely and friendly. Our bathroom had a nice large shower and it was one of the quietest hotel rooms we've ever had. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection of hot and cold. "
