"A return to the way things used to be is how I describe the wee bach, rustic with history and perfectly formed. The beach access was excellent, and the surrounding area of the bay and Mana was perfect for walks with the dogs, close to water and cafes. The evening spent at the bach with the fire on was a great relaxing touch. We will go back for sure. Jude and Family"

"Great stay, its an historic property and served its purpose bringing my whanau together and we made memories. The hosts are very good to talk to. That driveway was scenic lol. Thank you for trusting us with such a beautiful home. No moans and groans from us. We heated the house up there were plenty of heaters and plenty of room to chill. Awesome time!!!"

"We wanted a base to combine relaxation and exploring, and this was excellent. A nice big table for board games, plenty of food options just down the road in Petone and Wellington an easy drive. Visiting Te Papa was a wonderful addition to visiting the Weta workshop and seeing WOW - the World of Wearable Art extravaganza - indeed, WOW!"

I rented for 3 nights and stayed zero minutes. The problem was, that the room felt too enclosed. The room is downstairs - I don't recall the room having windows... "This holiday home is wonderful. It has an amazing view. The house is well presented with newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. We had a great week in Wellington and this house enabled us to retreat from the city and relax. It was clean and tidy and even had bread, milk, eggs and banans in the fridge on arrival."

"Very clean, tidy, neat modern cabin with lovely outlook over hills. Very private and enjoyed the morning sun. Our 14 year old daughter loved her bedroom on the mezzanine floor. Very comfortable beds. Has everything you could want in the kitchen for preparing your own meals and coffee machine was great too. We enjoyed a bit of shopping at the Outlet City nearby and shopped at both supermarkets nearby as well as enjoyed a delicious pub meal in Tawa one night. Thank you."

"This was a spacious rental that is not far from downtown Wellington. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large, and the kitchen was huge and fully stocked with supplies! There is a washer and dryer available for use onsite. You can see the water from the patio when it isn't raining. You can park in the driveway. Definitely recommended for a stay in Wellington!"

If you are looking for a place to chill then this is it. Continous mains pressure hot water makes for great showers and quick filling of the outdoor bath - spectacular place to relax after cycling around Pencarrow head. Will definitely will stay again!"
