"The ryokan was definitely traditional. It was a wonderful experience, and the duvet was the most comfortable thing for the cold winter nights. We used the private open-air bath twice, once with sudden notice. The hotel staff were still happy to accommodate us despite the hour, and they were overall very kind about everything. "This lodging was perfect for visiting the park. Facility was clean, quiet, our room was spacious, & the staff very friendly. They let us know about evening lantern event, and breakfast available for purchase at 9am in a cafe near by. Location in the park is convienent for some travelers without transportation visiting the park. It was a short hike from the bus stop at the museum. Could use a sign at the bottom of hill on bus route for lodging location. Of the park workers we asked, no one seemed...
