"One of about 10 inns in a row along Munras ave. We chose this one as it is newly renovated. Good location if you want to be between Monterey and Carmel by the sea. Clean and comfortable. Value for money. "

"I’m giving this place 5 stars, not for luxurious furnishings or a giant pool, but because it is clean, rooms have been recently remodeled and the bed with a memory foam mattress was surprisingly comfortable. The employee staffing the front desk when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Parking was a little crowded but adequate. TV had Dish Network but no ability to cast from your phone or stream anything, but that actually helped us to get out of the room and see more of Monterey. 10/10...

"It was a great stay. My only complaint was the $30/night for self-parking, which is ridiculous. Plenty of places to park nearby for free."

"Lovely room and very nice to have cheese and wine at 5.30pm. Excellent breakfast. A fire in our room was a welcome addition and the facilities were very comfortable. Only issue was that the floorboards above creaked a lot so we were disturbed by people moving around upstairs. Room 205 is next to the laundry and service area so it’s quite noisily early in the morning until later in the evening. Not the best room but all very comfortable."
