"We paid for an upgraded room. It hadn’t been updated in 50 years. Sink faucet dripped all night. Counter was chipped. Tile surround in tub was moldy. Floor by bathtub was damaged. The room stunk of mildew and old fireplace smoke when we first walked in. Could hear the plumbing and fan in room above us. It did feel safe and had a good view out the slider. "

"Great stay overall, especially compared to the other place we stayed. It’s beautiful, just that when we got into our room there was a strange smell, there were black hairs on both the top bed spreads, we ran the air all night and it was cooler in the hallway than in our room in the morning. Breakfast came with the price which was nice. The Hotel was centrally located to many amenities which was another bonus. "
