"Swissotel is very conveniently located, with direct access to the train station, so even with many luggages, you are just steps and an elevator away. but it is quite far away from OCAT. we didn't managed to find our way to OCAT so we stick to the train option (to airport) it is also linked to Takashimaya and Ebisubashisuji is just steps away, which also leads you to Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi. there were some hiccups after we checked in, but we managed to finally settle down in the 3rd room, thanks to the senior housekeeping manager Mr Katayama, who was quick to attend to our problem. the new room is much bigger with more amenities. it is clean and nicely decorated. however, the toilet and shower are placed within the same door. there is only a set of shower head above the bathtub so we have to "climb" into and out of the bathtub for showering, which is not ideal for many and can be dangerous. the water taps are the old fashioned type, one for hot and one for cold water, need to turn on both and adjust to get warm water. there was a day when we forgot to turn off the Do Not Disturb button so the room was not cleaned when we were back in the late evening. again, the housekeeping staff on duty was very quick in providing us with new towels and clearing the bins. thanks very much. "Great hotel, lovely staff. We had a corner room with the bath in the window, the bathroom was lovely. Bed was comfortable and the room was always kept clean with fresh towels each day. "

"Great value. Room was nice and spacious. Gym weights only went up to 20kg which was not ideal but can't expect too much from a hotel gym. Laundry machines aren't the best... whole load of laundry was still soaking wet after a long 2 hour cycle. Had to air dry everything back in room. "

"All the people in the reception can understand and speak English. They are very helpful and nice. They arranged for me to send our luggage to our hotel in Narita. It is close to a lot of places - shopping and restaurants. There is a Family Mart just across and 7-11. The room is small and tight but doable for us and very clean. They do not have water dispenser but you can always ask for a bottle of water from the reception. We enjoyed our stay in Osaka, thank you!"
