"The room we were given on arrival wasnt great..dark and hadxa musty smell, like it hadnt been used or aired for a long time. I notified reception and they immediately allocated us a different room which was just perfect, with a view overlooking the Abbey. Amazing staff at this hotel. Breakfast in fantastic and with the addition of tge new lantern terrace at the back its a perfect place to stay. "

"Location and view is amazing and the food at dinner excellent. I understand why some people have complained about the lack of choice as it is either 3 courses or testing menu so if you only wanted 2 courses tough. But the 3 courses we ate were delicious. We were late booking a room for a Saturday night and got the last room, No:36, which does not have the amazing views, it is looking at the cliff wall and car park, so it's dark and gloomy, made more so by the very odd and poor...
