When I arrived to check-in, the receptionist (his name was Tiger) walked away from the desk when he saw me coming, returned some time later, and seemed annoyed that I wished to check in. His entire demeanor was disinterested, unfriendly stand-offish and blunt. He didn't even greet me, just stared at me from behind the desk until I asked to check in. He appeared reluctant to answer any of my questions and gave blunt responses. He didn't give me any information about wifi or checkout times, just passed me the key, told me about a non-smoking policy, and told me my room number. He did not appear welcoming or eager to help in any way, and it was clear that he did not wish to be there. This was not a good start to my stay in the hotel.
The condition of the room was absolutely unacceptable. The carpet was filthy, with multiple stains and sticky patches throughout. The walls were damaged, and coated in multiple areas with dried-brown liquid. The sink within the bathroom had black mold growing on it. The room had a musty odor and was incredibly small. The "double bed," was two single beds joined together, with a huge ridge in the middle which was extremely uncomfortable. The television remote was missing. There was no do-not disturb sign to attach to the door.
