The area was family friendly and it felt safe and fun to walk around at least throughout the day and early evening. Good free entertainment options and plenty of electric sockets. Also liked the little table we had to eat and the fridge. The safe was updated and overall the room felt “upgraded”. However- I could not sleep well during my stay because walls were paper thin and the huge gaps in the door. I had to put a towel to muffle the noise it felt like I was sleeping in a noisy hallway. I heard EVERYTHING. My room had no heat and wer were so cold, luckily we brought blankets. Management offered to switch our rooms but with the caveat that we were already in the “best room”. (We were there only 2.5 nights- left at 4am so wasn’t worth hassle) the bathroom situation was not bad but going with a femme teen we were extra careful. An added layer of relief was that the floor we were on was the “family style rooms” and the office was there. Also liked that the men’s bathroom was polar opposite to ours and also there was a unisex bathroom. I would say while we were there it felt like it was only us and maybe two other rooms occupied so it worked out in terms of noise and busy messy bathrooms but I would not stay there again by preference with family but it’s an option if I were to go back with a more shabby crew of friends.
