"We booked last minute due to having to cancel our trip into France because they closed the station due to finding an unexploded bomb from WWII. With that being said it was our first time staying in a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are small of course if you are traveling with lots of luggage which we were. "This is the cleanest hostel I have ever been in. They are cleaning night and day. The 24-hour reception is a real plus and will take packages for you and accommodate most requests. The adjacent Brazilian restaurant is great for when you need a hot meal without going out in the cold. Unfortunately they don't have a coffee machine, but there is a cafe whose hours in the off-season are erratic. Super polite and helpful staff always. The bus and subway are 30 metres away. "Saint James hostel is a welcoming place to stay. It gives you the feel of a family home, with its very friendly and helpful staff who connect with guests. The hostel offers free breakfast and free dinner. They organise events and games to entertain. They even have a happiness manager!
