"Welcoming with a homely feel .lovely hostess. Room spacious. Very clean accommodation Shared small shower/ toilet was just about ok bit of a squeeze! Towels provided were small and a bit old/ thin, could have been better. Tea tray not changed daily Breakfast good but not alot of choice. Parking easy in the village but not on site. Overall enjoyed my stay and it was value for money."

"Where do I start!! 6* plus.. Unbelievably thoughtful, kind,funny owners. From the moment we got out of our car to the (sad) moment we left, we were made to feel like family. The rooms are beautiful, with wonderful little touches that other hotels, B&B''s and gest houses would never think of. 1000% recommend to others. "

"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

"Reasonable value for money. Restaurant, Lounge, Bar & Food all quite acceptable. Bedrooms in need of Updating, but adequate. Bathroom in need of complete Refurb & modern lighting! Owner very helpful, & if you like Tai Food you will enjoy the restaurant."

"Lovely place with beautiful authentic styling. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Super breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room that also does afternoon tea. Lots of hot water, great selection of tea / coffee - with biscuits. Bed comfy enough. Road noise may bother some. Close to Chester and Cheshire Oaks outlet - but you would need a car or taxi."

Wonderful couple nothing to much trouble stayed a extra night because it was such a chilled out place to be will definitely be coming back.David cooked us a meal on both nights the curry he made us was amazing thank you to you both for your hospitality. "Because it was a holiday weekend, and it rained, and there were accidents, we were 2 hours late, and one hour after check in. We called, and Ian said "No problem". We walked in and I was apologizing like mad, and Ian just said "You are here now, just relax". I could have hugged him! The house is beautiful, the décor just lovely.
