"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. "

"Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! It’s spotless! Really comfy big bed and nicely firm pillows. Modern and clean bathroom. Breakfast cooked to order and plenty of other choices; cereals, fresh fruit, juices, different teas, alternative milks as well as normal, marmite, jam, Nutella, the list is endless! Loads of books and a selection of...

"Was greeted warmly by the hostess on arrival, she even offered to carry my bag up to my room! (I declined the kind offer!) The room was compact and en'suite with a sparkling bathroom, the shower was great with plenty of water pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I was able to adjust it to my liking, when I mentioned this the hosts were very concerned and said they would give the bed a check out after I left. Breakfasts (I was there 2 nights) were lovely, fresh and well cooked....

"We have just returned from two fantastic nights at Rondeva. The location is perfect! Warm, cosy and comfortable. Waking to watch the sunrise, whilst seeing the rowers on the river - just brilliant! Highly recommend and we very much hope to be back. The host, Chris, was on hand if needed but he has everything covered, so we didn’t! "

"Shabby run down accommodation with very poor communication from the owner. I was locked out of my accommodation on the first night and had to sleep elsewhere on a couch because the auto key arrangements were not made and I could not gain access to my room. This property needs to be qualified as suitable with the advert of the property being very misleading."

"I stayed one night during the Open golf at Royal Liverpool. We arrived after reception had closed but the instructions on how to get the keys were easy to follow and accurate. The room was spacious and comfortable and the venue itself was well kept. I would recommend this venue to all."
