"Fantastic location and such a beautiful place! Room was very comfortable and with a lot of little treats. Very clean and lovely! Good shower and lovely touch with all soaps and shampoo provided! Bottle of vino was an amazing treat! Breakfast was delicious and staff was so friendly and polite! Very comfortable beds and the decor was very tasteful. Beautiful location and plenty of parking space! Thank you for amazing experience we had and we will be back! "

"The hotel and grounds itself are very beautiful with modern decor. The breakfast was a good selection and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Check-in was quick and easy and we received a quick tour of the hotel. The local knowledge could have been better, when we asked for a local restaurant recommendation we didnt expect to be referred to a chain restaurant, we did go for a walk and settle on a local Thai restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return if we visited...

"I booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday. The service was fantastic. The deco delightful , the little details added to room very kind , with a fabulous, comfy bed. We had a sweet little view of roof tops and the downs ( which was a special place for my partner ) . We absolutely loved this place and the staff . Well done team Lewes @ the white hart . Xx"

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. Close proximity of railway line did not bother us as we are early risers in the...

"Lovely, cosy, quirky little place in a very quiet part of town. It has everything I needed for my stay. Only stayed 1 night for work purposes but wanted to stay longer. Rod was very welcoming and throughly nice chap."
