Breakfast was cereals, croissants, etc or a cooked brekkie (which we didn't have) Specials board looked lovely (sunday roast) Emma (landlady) is a friendly, nice lady "

"Cleverly decorated with good supplies (apart from drinkable tap water). It was cosy and well heated, which was just as well as the shower was rubbish (freezing cold with low pressure) and the room is separate to the hotel - the door opens directly onto the carpark "

"The hotel and grounds itself are very beautiful with modern decor. The breakfast was a good selection and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Check-in was quick and easy and we received a quick tour of the hotel. The local knowledge could have been better, when we asked for a local restaurant recommendation we didnt expect to be referred to a chain restaurant, we did go for a walk and settle on a local Thai restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return if we visited...

"A lovely hotel beautiful decor and a lovely happy ambiance around the bar and dining areas. Very close to restaurants shops and easy access to getting about the area. "

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. "Lovely, cosy, quirky little place in a very quiet part of town. It has everything I needed for my stay. Only stayed 1 night for work purposes but wanted to stay longer. Rod was very welcoming and throughly nice chap."
