"Although about 30 minutes from central Tokyo the hotel is still very convenient. Ikebukuro Station has various train and subway options making it easy to get to Shinjuku and other major hubs. "We loved our stay here. This was our first time visiting Japan, so we wanted to book somewhere central to the busy Tokyo areas. This hotel was perfect. It is steps away from Shin Okubo, which is only one stop away from Shinjuku, and has a 7-11 kitty corner to the hotel. The hotel's amenities were also excellent, from complimentary toiletries and coffee to peaceful onsens that were free for guests. The staff were friendly, and the room layouts were terrific.
