"Absolutely beautiful hotel with a stunning room and hot tub. The only thing that lets it down is the breakfast. In a 5* hotel, I would expect you to be able to order your eggs as you’d like them to go with the buffet style breakfast. "

"This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and overall we were pleased with the hospitality and level of service. However, they have now switched to a buffet style breakfast as opposed to waiter service. We felt the breakfast was not as enjoyable as some of the breakfast items were cold as they had been placed in the tray for too long."

"The location was very good & the hotel provided a parking permit for the pay & display car park across the street. Room was small which was fine but the en suite bathroom is not even a little bit sound proof so doesn't leave much to the imagination! The water pressure for the shower wasn't great & the water stopped intermittently whilst in the shower. Breakfast was nice but limited to full English, salmon & scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup. "

"Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again. "

"A lovely place run by a very nice couple. They prioritised cleaning our room to ensure we could check in early to get ready for a wedding. We had a cozy double and although small was great for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing too. All in all, a lovely place to stay (with the added advantage of onsite parking in the centre of Windermere) "
