Great building in a lovely location. Some areas of the hotel are a bit tired, but cleanliness was very good. Staff were welcoming and accommodating and our evening meal and breakfast was great. The free facilities of the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi at the leisure complex were an added bonus, although the beautiful view was hindered by the windows which needed cleaning. An easy fix! Overall, a lovely stay and great value for money.

The property was lovely, a little dated, the staff were lovely,beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, evening meal first night was really nice, the 2nd night wasn't as good, was told it was a different chef Sunday. The spa was very nice, used the sauna and steam room, the Jacuzzi and the pool. In fact the spa was really Christmasy but the hotel was rather poor with the Christmas decorations, overall I would definitely stay again.

This is a characterful property in a beautiful location with excellent pool/spa facilities. Very friendly helpful staff and great food choices - especially in Dolly Blue Bar. Our room was larger than expected with a large bath & shower - very clean. Highly recommend.
